New Pond Farm is celebrating its 30th year as an environmental education center with a small working farm. Its mission is to connect people with the land that enriches and sustains us all.
The beautiful 102-acre property, in West Redding, CT, was once the home of its founder, actress Carmen Mathews. In the early 1970s, Paul Winter lived in the cottage on the farm. He, Carmen, and co-founder Sally Trippe were fast friends. Paul gave a benefit concert as the Foundation was being formed, and is now returning with the Consort for a joyous afternoon of music to celebrate New Pond’s 30th anniversary.
Concert: 4 – 5:30 p.m.
Cocktails: 5:30 – 7 p.m.
Mingle with the musicians as you enjoy cocktails & sumptuous hors d’oeuvres from the farm
Ticket information:
$50 for adults, and combined tickets for the concert and ‘Taste of the Farm’ are $100
For students age 12 to 21 tickets are $20 each
